Partnerships & Collaborations

Magenta House

We’re super excited to team up with Magenta House, a creative hub in Redfern that’s all about bringing people together through food, art, and culture.
Think micro-workshops, communal meals, talks, and cool social projects—all in one space. Oh, and did we mention they’ve got a shop and library too?

Magenta House is all about collaborative joy and cultural service, which vibes perfectly with what we do at Aban Eco. This means more storytelling, more hands-on experiences, and more ways to connect over the beauty of artisanal craft and sustainability.
Stay tuned for some dreamy collabs—we can’t wait to share what’s coming next!

Frankie General Store,

Aban Eco x Frankie General Store is a soulful collaboration between two brands rooted in the same mission — to honor culture, community, and conscious living. Nestled in the heart of Sydney’s northern coastal beaches, Frankie is a Filipino-based lifestyle store that champions small business owners and celebrates the art of slow, sustainable living. Together, we’re blending island soul with coastal charm — where culture meets conscious lifestyle.

Kamayan Kapwa Dinner

Under the warm glow of good food and even better company, Aban Eco had the absolute joy of curating and styling a special night for artist Marikit Santiago, alongside the curator from 4A Contemporary Art Gallery, and hosted by the ever-so-jazzy Mariam.

The night came alive with a Kamayan-style feast by Kuya Will — the genius behind Sydney’s fave Pinoy Lechon. More than just dinner, it was a celebration of culture, language, art, and connection — all shared atop the banig. Everyone dined kamayan-style (gloves on, hands first!) while OPM classics played in the background. Honestly? A full sensory love letter to Filipino heritage. 🇵🇭💛

It was one of those nights that reminded us why we do what we do — honouring our roots, our community, and the stories we continue to weave.

The Conscious Space

The Conscious Space was an absolute dream — Sydney’s ultimate celebration of sustainable living and mindful brands. 🌿 We’re beyond grateful that Aban Eco got to be part of it, sharing the timeless beauty of Filipino weaving — where culture, craftsmanship, and creativity intertwine.

Our weaving workshop was nothing short of magic — little hands (as young as four!) and curious hearts came together to craft coasters and baskets, filling the space with laughter, stories, and connection. The vibe? Pure bayanihan energy — that beautiful Filipino spirit of community and togetherness. ✨

Because for us, weaving isn’t just a skill — it’s storytelling in motion. It’s culture meeting consciousness, threads meeting hearts. 💛

Want in on the next one? Stay tuned for updates on our future weaving workshops — and come weave a little magic with us.

Women's Weaving Circle

Under the new moon, Aban Eco gathered souls for a Weaving Circle — an evening of slowing down, creating, and reconnecting. A cacao ceremony and gentle meditation opened the night, inviting stillness, intention, and story-sharing. Grounded on the traditional banig — just as the weavers do in the Philippines — we sat surrounded by inspiring women, nourishing food, and the soothing hum of healing bowls. Together, we wove not only with our hands, but with our laughter, voices, and spirit. It was a night of remembering our roots, celebrating craft, and weaving community — just as our ancestors once did.

Tahanan Studio

Tahanan x Aban Eco is the collab we didn’t know we needed — two Filipina-owned brands from Sydney and Melbourne coming together to celebrate culture, comfort, and home. “Tahanan” means home in Tagalog, and that’s exactly what this partnership is all about — curating pieces that feel like a warm hug from your roots.

From eco homewares and cozy essentials to the iconic banig now available in Melbourne, every piece brings a touch of Filipino artistry to your space. It’s culture, sustainability, and good vibes woven together — because home isn’t just a place, it’s a feeling.
